This Privacy Policy explains what information TabuX collects, how it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to users.

Introduction

TabuX (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a real estate platform that helps users browse properties, connect with brokers, save favorites, manage listings, and receive service-related notifications.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use the TabuX mobile application and related services.

a. Information you provide directly

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Profile photo or avatar
  • Account role and profile details
  • Property listing information you create or upload, including title, description, address, city, country, pricing, listing images, and other listing-related content
  • Ratings, reviews, comments, and other user-generated content you submit
  • Support or account-related communications you send to us

b. Information collected when you use the app

  • Favorites and saved items
  • Listing activity, enquiry activity, and broker lead interactions
  • Notification preferences
  • Device push notification token
  • Basic technical and diagnostic information needed to operate the service securely and reliably

c. Information collected from device features

If you choose to use certain features, TabuX may request access to photos, your photo library, camera, and notifications. TabuX only accesses photos or camera features when you choose to use them.

d. Payment-related information

Some subscription or checkout flows may be completed on an external hosted payment website opened in your device’s browser. The TabuX iOS app does not collect, store, or process your payment card details inside the app.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

3. How We Share Information

  • With other users where required for the app’s core functionality. For example, when a user contacts a broker, relevant account and enquiry information may be shared with that broker. When a broker publishes a listing, broker and listing details may be shown to users.
  • With service providers that help us operate the service, such as hosting, cloud messaging, storage, security, and communications providers.
  • With payment-related service providers or hosted checkout services when required to complete an external payment flow.
  • If required by law, legal process, regulation, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.
  • We do not sell your personal information to third-party advertisers. TabuX does not use third-party ad SDKs for in-app advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. Certain account credentials and tokens may be stored securely on your device to keep you signed in and protect access to your account. Some preferences and cached data may also be stored locally on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information.

  • Update certain profile information within the app
  • Disable push notifications in your device settings
  • Stop using the app at any time

  • If applicable law requires us to keep certain records, we may retain limited information as required.

7. Children’s Privacy

TabuX is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us and we will review the request.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
